Patti Maloney, Operations Manager

There is nobody better at production systems than Patti.  She joined the Factory Five team only a few years ago, and has quickly moved from Accounting support to Operations Manager.  In between, she has excelled in Customer Service and Purchasing roles.

Besides making sure that the kits that go out the door are as complete and in the highest quality attainable, she also runs Patti’s Discount Depot, a clearing house for overstocked parts.

Meredith Kay, Purchasing

US Navy 2002-2004

Accustomed to working with Navy guys, Meredith doesn’t let anyone push her around.

In her current role in purchasing, Meredith uses her experiences working in the Supply Department on several duty units (including aboard the USS John F. Kennedy), have helped her to organize and streamline our shipping and receiving departments.

In her spare time, Meredith is also taking classes at Bridgewater State College in order to attain certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.  Skills that will undoubtedly come in handy with her father, Bob, who’s heart races every time he gets near Dick Smith’s #198.

Eddie Brundage, Warehouse Lead Person

Besides his roles at Factory Five, which includes production planning, incoming receiving, and Stewart pick-up coordination, Eddie is a call fire fighter for the Wareham Fire Department.

Eddie is a hard-worker and has earned his role of Warehouse lead person (as well as over-achiever).

Eddie is also currently taking classes to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician at Bridgewater State College, just in case one of our customers gets a little too excited while picking up his kit.

Jessie Riha, Shipping

Health Science

Bridgewater State College 2009

Jessie has been working here for over five years, in various positions, and with Meredith have made shipping into a lean and mean operation.

After she completes her undergraduate degree, she plans to head back for a Masters in Physical Therapy, which will come in handy for all of us tired and broken-down race car guys.

Vital Statistics:

Jessie currently drives an Acura RSX and can often be seen after-hours working on her car.  Her previous car had numerous custom modifications which she created, installed and/or optimized.

She is not the type to sit back and watch things happen – Jessie gets her hands dirty and gets the job done!

Diomar “D” Melo, Shipping

If there was a “Most Likeable Operations Guy” Award, D. would get the trophy.  This guy gets along with everyone and everyone really gets along with him.

D. is the soft-spoken type that doesn’t make waves and always gets the job done, regardless of how big that project might be.

In his former jobs, D. had scheduling and planning experience, and hit the ground running when we added him to the team in 2006.

Outside of work, D. enjoys working on and detailing cars.
