Continuing the tradition we started with the roadster, the Coupe interior was designed to capture the essence of the original car, yet improve on things like ergonomics, cockpit space, and sound/heat management.
We kept the interior Spartan and functional like it’s forebearer, however we designed in modern comfort and controls like supportive seating, air conditioning, and improved visibility. All these things combine to enhance the driving experience rather than affect it.
It is an ungainly entry into the car, owing to it’s rather small door and low-slung chassis. Once seated however you’ll find yourself in a rather large cockpit with good rearward and side visibility.
The clean lines and purposeful interior complements the vintage design of the car and underscore its serious purpose.
The base and complete kits come with a complete interior. This includes the original style bucket seats in black, original style dash, finished door liners with DOT door latches, emergency brake boot cover, shift boot cover and ring, shifter, shifter knob, door hinges and leather check straps, trim and your choice of vintage or modern 7 gauge sets. We also include two pairs of full five point Simpson racing harnesses for passenger and driver.
