GTM Transaxle Update
 
Guys,

I wanted to give you an update on the new GTM transmission. We have received a good number of orders for this part and are going forward with our plans.  We have placed our initial order for 50 units.

We should have first article validation testing and approval completed in 6-9 weeks. We were hoping to show off the new unit at the 2009 SEMA show, but that may not happen.

All customer orders have been deposited into a dedicated bank account, in essence, we want folks to know that their orders are safe and if there is a problem with this transmission that was not anticipated, we will issue complete refunds.

We are also planning on raising the price after this initial order by approximately $800 as a way to both reward our early customers and to offset changes in the bill of materials.  Orders placed now are guaranteed the introductory price.

 
 

This transaxle is custom made solely for Factory Five Racing by Quaife Engineering in England.  Quaife is well known in European Motorsports and has been making gears, transmissions and differentials since 1965.  For full details and specs, click here.
