The Red GTM featured here is the company's test mule.  It is in reality chassis #3, which has done the lions share of the vehicle and chassis testing and development work.  The car is wearing the production body shape where the composite shell and panels are all from actual production molds and tools.  This final body shape was selected in February 2005 at the Winter Open House/Moochfest and few changes have been made since then.  The GTM project has taken years to get to this point.  The car shown here is powered by a stock 350 hp fuel injected Corvette engine from a 1998 C5 Corvette.  The red car shown here will remain at the factory to serve as the FFR development mule, long-term tester, and in-house GTM race car.
