Joe Fournier's FFR Roadster

Our go-to tech guy Joe Fournier built this FFR Roadster. Painted in a '68 Mustang Acapulco blue, Joe put in a '66 410 Mercury FE  (390 block with a 428 crank), and the Tremec 3550 transmission. He used 15" Trigo pin drive wheels with 2001 GT 11" brakes in the front and 97 T-Bird brakes in the rear. He also powder coated the brakes which were supplied by Disc Brakes 'R' Us. Joe has pin drive suspension in both the front and rear along with 600 lb. springs. Joe did a few personal touches to his Roadster by modifying the rear fender flanges, installing dash support tubes, and is using a hydraulic clutch. And here is a neat factoid about Joe's car - it is a Mark II frame with a Mark III body.

Joe finished his car in time to bring it to this year's World of Wheels in Boston, MA where he won 2nd place in the hand-built sports car category.
