Better than it ever was

There can be no greater testimony to a legacy than to continue it.  We’re not talking about putting signatures on plastic cars with tape stripes, but rather being faithful to the true spirit and legacy of American Motor Sports.  The Factory Five Racing Mk3 roadster is designed with modern technology and materials to perform better than the original car, while keeping its primal essence intact

Engineering and design are at the heart of a quality car.  There are huge differences between replicas with respect to design, engineering and the quality of the parts.  The Factory Five Mk3 roadster is made from proven racing materials and is the integration of advanced computer design and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods.  Best of all, the design has been forged, refined and honed at speed out on the racetrack in conditions that few street cars could survive.

The chassis is as elegant and authentic as it is race-proven and strong.  The body is exacting in dimension and designed to do the job well.  The Factory Five kit was also engineered from the start to be put together by a person at home in their own garage.  Regardless of how skilled you may be, starting with a kit that is well engineered is most of the battle.

The Factory Five Mk3 Roadster combines vintage lines, modern engineering, and affordability in a way no other can.

The design had humble beginnings in a small shop in Massachusetts in 1995.  Since that first Mk1 prototype, the Factory Five Roadster has literally taken over the replica industry.  It has won more car show awards, battled for more racing wins, received more accolades and recognition from the press, and most importantly, garnered the most loyal customer group of any replica ever.

Let’s take the time to look at each part and assembly of the Mk3 roadster kit, talk about different running gear options and finally discuss the features and performance of the finished cars.  If we tend to get a bit longwinded, it’s because we want to make sure you know everything about what we’ve designed and built things the way we have.
