Some of our best customers are located in California. Not only do they build great cars, but they drive and race the snot out of them as well. Sure the weather is better (ok, perfect) out there, and the living seems to be easier, but the guys on the left coast just appear to have a different attitude about their cars. Langley Kersenboom first discovered Factory Five “in the early days” and built a car that was the envy of many. It was a daily driver, a track regular, and a show-stopper as well, and was a presence at all three types of events. That car gave him the bug to expand his racing business. |

Langley has high octane fuel running through his veins, and has spent many years working with and racing track cars. Since his first car, he has built bushel of Factory Fives, and is one of the few builders that specializes in Challenge Series cars. |

His crew is also top notch, and include: Pat - 10 years on a NASCAR team, and a sought-after expert on alignment, brakes and suspension set-ups. 33 years in the auto industry. Bob - 25 years in racing (including a stint as the Crew Chief for Bob Grossman racing in the ‘60s). owner/driver of a Formula Atlantic. 30 years in the auto industry Jim - driving instructor for SCCA, as well as other performance racing schools, owner/driver of a Formula Ford. Ralf - engineer for an aerospace company, and the smartest guy in the shop. Sam - he’s the house accountant, and if he doesn’t get mentioned, they all have top forfeit some of their wages. |
