Mid-Atlantic FFROGS and Whitby Motorcars Raise over $2,000 for Charity

Annual Christmas Party raises money for Team Jenny

The Mid-Atlantic region of FFR owners is a hard-core and loyal bunch.  Every year for the past five or six years they gather at Whitby Motorcars in Greensboro, NC to celebrate the year and raise some money for charity.

This year continued that tradition as the crew at Whitby were again joined by customers and friends on January 7, 2006.  The party involved over 25 cars and hundreds of customers who dug deep and donated $2,074.25 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

I wanted to go on record to thank everyone at Whitby and all the Mid-Atlantic customers for their hard work, generosity and sincere kindness.  Jeff Collins and his boys are top notch and they build some of the best Factory Five’s out there.  More importantly they stand behind their product like no-one else and run a business the way it should be run.

Jeff Collins, center, judges show cars at the 2005 nationals VIR.  Right:  The show winning Coupe built by the Whitby boys for FFR President Dave Smith.

Factory Five Racing trusts Whitby to build show cars for our company and I personally own a Whitby-built Coupe.  Anyone can go and build a Factory Five.  What Jeff and his crew have done is to help build a community.  That is what we are all about.

Thanks again guys for the stoke!
