In March of 2004, Richard Bassemir opened his garage doors as Stewart Transport delivered his MkII Roadster. Since then, Rich has been diligently working to get his car built and proud to say his build is finished. |
|
| While Richard has worked on cars in the past (replacing piston rings on a Honda 90 motorcycle for example), he would not call himself a “motor head.” But, with the knowledge his father gave to him about cars and his everyday set of tools, Rich was up to the task of building a car from scratch. | |

| This car is made for cruising. While some guys build these cars to race or see just how fast the car can go, Rich is only interested in taking it for a ride around town. An occasional trip down the drag strip isn’t out of the question though. You have to give into that need for speed once and a while | |

Richard is taking the car to its first car show in two weeks and is extremely excited to show off his Roadster. His comment on the experience he had building the car was simply put as a pleasant one. Richard has created an online diary of his build that is pretty thorough. Click here to check it out. |
