Customer Profile Bill Scholl St. Louis, MO

For years FFR dominated the annual Run and Gun Challenge sponsored by Kit Car Magazine. Our cars and customers have always fared well there, but recent years have seen our budget focused tightly on our professional racing series, the FFR-NASA Challenge Series.

Bill took the rest of the field to school, earning three Run and Gun trophies at the 2004 competition.

That power vacuum has left FFR customers to fend for themselves at the annual shoot-out. We were worried until guys like Bill picked up the slack.
Bill Scholl and his 289 powered roadster didn’t seem to miss us at all. We sure missed him as he completely dominated the competition at last years’ 2004 Run and Gun Shootout in the drag racing!

Bill Scholl of St. Louis, MO was the latest of the FFROGs who went to the event to school the other replica owners. With a slightly modified 289 powered roadster, equipped with the FFR-signature 3-link rear suspension upgrade, Bill was able to pull the whole field (as well as pull his wheels off the ground!).
Bill carries on the FFR customer tradition of winning at Run and Gun. This tradition dates back to guys like Greg Lapoint (the original wheelie man), Pete Tork, Don Gibson, Richard Oben and others (oops, forgot FFR’s Mark Smith King of the Hill in the wrecked X-car from 1998).
