Dan Gark, from St. Catherines Ontario in Canada began his project more than 20 years ago, and although the details were not yet defined, he knew what he wanted.  This was back before he started his family, before children, before he even knew what he wanted to do for a career.  Dan always knew his dream of owning a roadster would be fulfilled some day.  It was his dream car – always had been and always would be.

Fast forward 20 years, and along comes Factory Five Racing.  In the meantime, Dan has started a family and a successful construction business – both of which required more time than he had available.  Nonetheless, he made the time for the kit, as he was obsessed with making the dream a reality.  In truth, it was the last item on a 20 year old list of dreams he wanted to fulfill.

Dan’s a good father, however, and the pitter-patter of little feet was a blessing, and he wanted to spend every available moment with his young children.  Nonetheless, the dream kept calling, so he took the Factory Five plunge.  He built the car like a man obsessed. 

Even with the limited time available to him, he built his car in just 3 months and 3 days working only nights and weekends.

And now that his wish list is complete, what’s next for Dan ?   Well, he’s had his eye on the new GTM, but there’s kids and family and miles to put on his car before all that…
