You may not remember Joanne Koerner and her new husband, Mike, but you’ll definitely remember their story. |

|
Just a recap for you - a while back we did a profile on Mike, but it really should have been a profile on Joanne, so now it’s her turn.
Joanne (formerly Keller) felt it was unfair that her fiancé had to fork out two months salary for an engagement ring, and her new fiancé had nothing to show off to his friends. Besides, she wanted to create some equity in their relationship before it was too late.
So she did purchase her
future husband the only thing that he ever wanted, the only thing he
ever talked about - she bought him a Factory Five! |

It’s been almost a year since the kit was delivered to Mike, and he has been feverishly working to get the car done. Over the course of the build, he’s enlisted his family, her family, and every friend that they know.
When Joanne presented the kit to Mike, you see, she made an agreement with Mike (rewriting the whole prenuptial agreement concept in the process). The deal was that the car had to be finished in time for their wedding day. |

Mike was proud of his accomplishment and come the wedding day he was sad to see that the weather didn’t cooperate with their plans.
By the middle of the ceremony, the clouds started to clear and it was safe to bring out their new chariot. One of the groomsman rushed off in secrecy and brought the car back just in time for Mike and Joanne to ride off in style.
As you can see, Joanne has set the bar high for fiancés everywhere, and thus deserves a profile of her own.
Congratulations to Joanne and Mike Koerner, from the entire Factory Five extended family! |
