Factory Five Type 65 Coupe Reaches Holland!
Factory Five are not only being built across the United States, but around the world. Word has come in that one of our Coupe kits is now a registered vehicle in Holland. Roy Bergen has completed his very own 65 Coupe after quite some hard work to finally get it registered in the Netherlands. |

Here are some of the specs on Roy's Coupe:
Engine: 1965 FORD 289 with 650cfm Holley double pumper 4bbl GT40 cast iron heads Crane "Fire Ball" coil and electronic ignition Transmission: Borg Warner T-5 Brakes: front 13" and rear 10.5" rotors Tires: Goodyear F-1 front 275/40/17 and rear 315/35/17 Wheels: 17x9 and 17x10.5 Torque |

The funny looking mufflers were only put on to simply pass the technical inspection. The FFR pipes gave 102dB and to pass inspection 84dB is the maximum. With this setup the engine produced 85.5dB, but the inspector was very nice about it and rounded it down a little to 84dB.
In order to meet the noise requirement, Roy is having new stainless steel copies made of the FFR pipes with more sound dampening and a balancing pipe. Roy was able to find a local company that specializes in car exhaust systems. |
