Legends admire FFR Coupe

Dave Shulak (Scottsdale, AZ) has built one of the nicest Type 65 Coupes we have ever seen, and his award-winning car is present at many west coast car shows.

 

Recently, Dave decided to take his car to visit Bob Bondurant.  After that adventure he sent us these photos as well as a nice letter.

I had the pleasure of going over to Bondurant Racing School with my coupe the other day to get my dash signed by Bob.  He told me that he had a few coupes come out there (in the past) but none like this one!

He loved it and asked me if he could drive it on the track. I told him yes right away and also told him that I had never let anyone drive it before but that I wanted him to.  He invited me to go along for the ride.

WOW! - the guy still has it…he can DRIVE !!!..

 

He thanked me a number of times and told me that the car was most enjoyable. He really seemed thrilled about my car.
 

Prior to stopping to see Bob, Dave had also journeyed to see legends Dan Gurney and Phil Remington.
