In order to make every drive
more enjoyable, SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Alliance) has been
working tirelessly, enacting automotive-hobbyist legislation in every
state in support of everything from headlight modifications to
exhaust/noise regulations to replica vehicle registration. |

SEMA has
authored legislation that has allowed customers in several regions around
the country, to register their replicas as the year of the shape of the
body, thereby bypassing the need to meet modern emissions and other
regulatory requirements. Bills to support replica, custom car and hot rod
hobbyists have successfully been enacted in California (SB100), Illinois,
Missouri, and Rhode Island. |
