Factory Five Crew Welcome Back Bob Kay March 2006 |

Two years ago this coming May, we all said a fond farewell to one of our favorite guys, FFR customer, Bob Kay (link to May 2004 post on Bob). Bob had decided to move down South and retire (always a mistake). Over the years many of you had been fortunate to get to know Bob here as he helped out on Saturdays (unpaid and he always brought donuts) assisting the FFR guys out taking customers around the building on tours.
After Bob and his wife retired to the Atlanta area, we figured we’d never see him again. Bob stayed in touch and built some cars (FFR Coupe and a Challenge car). As so often is the case, the FFR family never really lost Bob. After suffering pleasant weather, kind people and being away from the chaos here at FFR, Bob decided to move back home a month ago!
We are so happy that our prodigal son has returned to us! Bob has also agreed to start working here full time helping with tech support, answering customer questions, and conducting tours.
On behalf of all the team here at Factory Five, I wanted to extend a huge welcome to our good friend, and now full-fledged co-worker, Bob Kay. Welcome back to New England and to your friends here at Factory Five.
