Factory Five to close Labor Day weekend

Staffers receive a well deserved 3 day weekend off

We work hard here at Factory Five - primarily because we love the place, but also because we enjoy talking to our customers, we love the sweet aroma of high-test exhaust fumes, and, well, there just never seems to be enough time to catch up with all of the things we want to do.

Realistically, it’s a rare weekend that we’re not here, doing tours and visiting with our old friends, but also catching up with the projects that keep this well oiled machine humming like a Swiss watch.

Normally, even on “closed” holidays, a few of us sneak back in to do some work.

This year we have been mandated by Dave Smith (the reigning king of  late night candle burning), to stay away from the factory.

Luckily, we have an opportunity to hang out with our old friends, make some new ones, and drool over paint jobs, and get blinded by chrome.  Best of all, it’s only a few hours from home.

So come down to Lime Rock, Connecticut and check out some unbelievable cars and hang out with the Factory Five crew and other FFROGs at a fantastic event - the Vintage Festival.

In other words, it’s a bad news, good news deal. The bad news, is that if you were planning to swing by and see us at any time during the Labor Day weekend (Saturday Sept. 2 thru Monday, Sept. 5) we will not be here to greet you. The good news, is that we would be happy to see you in Connecticut.

Peering in the showroom window is allowed at anytime.
