Continuing our
long-standing tradition of hiring interns for summer work, we welcome
three bright young men to our team for the 2005 summer session here at the
Factory. This year’s crop of interns come from three different schools,
The University of Michigan, Kettering College, and MIT send us their
finest.
Here is the breakdown: |

Aaron Silidker
Mechanical Engineering Major, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor,
MI.
Aaron has built (and drives) his own FFR roadster. Aaron will be
overhauling the FFR Parts & Options catalog this summer as well as
assisting with misc. manufacturing engineering projects and helping
with the GTM project. |

Chris Coleman
Mechanical Engineering Major, Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA.
Chris has also
built his own FFR roadster and attends MIT full time. Chris is
charged with re-writing ALL of FFR’s technical documentation,
instructions and reviewing part numbers, configurations and
assemblies. Chris will also be doing assorted engineering projects
in the GTM area. |

Nat Hunter (no photo)
Mechanical Engineering
Major, Kettering College, Flint MI
Nat will start out in the
GTM area working as one of the development engineers. He is focusing on
the assembly manual, pilot production and small assembly design.

In related news, Eric Jacobs is joining the FFR engineering team full
time as a fresh college graduate from Union College, NY. You may
recall Eric was an intern last summer (FFR
welcomes Eric Jacobs). Eric has built (and recently sold) his own FFR and now has completed his second car an FFR
Challenge Series Racer. Eric plans to compete this season in the FFR
Challenge Series on the East Coast. |
