New Streamlined Order Procedure:

How to Order a Kit

So you’ve come to the point where you want to buy a kit.  There are several questions that we’ll have to go through with you.  We can do this in person or over the phone.  The entire process of placing an order is quite simple, but there are several important things to review.

1.       If you know a few things in advance it will make placing your order much easier.  At the bottom of this page are links to the step-by-step procedure to follow and options pages by kit type.  The things you should think about are listed on the order form in the right sequence.  These are questions like…

·         Are you going to come pick up your kit at the factory or have it delivered ?

·         Are you planning on using parts from a donor car?

·         How soon do you want/need the kit to be shipped (production dates vary by season and can exceed 3months).

2.       When you’re ready to place your order, call us at (508) 291-3443 and we’ll step through your order.  We’ll give you the expected delivery date and the total amount due, not including shipping.  It’s not crucial that the order is complete as you can always change parts and add options to your order later.

3.       We’ll need a deposit ($1000 for all kits).  The deposit is your money and is ALWAYS refundable. There is no sales contract.  If someone requires you to sign anything it is almost NEVER for your best interests.  We require a deposit simply to know that folks are serious.

4.       As soon as your order is placed, a few things happen.  First a “Congratulations Pack” will be sent to you.  This pack includes your deposit receipt, an invoice that indicates your ship date and balance due, some helpful documents about what to expect, and some fun stuff (extra propaganda for the future FFR salesman).

5.       Between order point and your actual production date, an engineer should call you and review your order.  The engineer should look at the configuration and making sure your order is accurate and makes sense (try to catch small mistakes).

6.       That’s about it.  When the production date nears, the admin team will call for final payment and to arrange pick-up or delivery times.  We’ve done this almost 5,000 times in the last 10 years, we’ll do it right for you!  If you’re ready, proceed to the next step by clicking on the link below titled “Ordering Your Kit”.  The links below are PDF files for you to print and work with.  You can call us or fax us with the information on these forms when complete.
