Built by Whitby motorcars for FFR owner
Dave Smith, this FFR Type 65 Coupe is painted Chrysler “Patriot Blue”
and features top-of-the-line running gear and parts. |
| The aluminum is slightly polished by hand for a vintage feel. The Ford 392 crate engine lasted 20 minutes before blowing up and was replaced with the more dependable Roush 402R unit. |
| The car was slightly damaged while “El Presidente” was driving at Waterford Raceway in August 2003. After the wreck it was decided to totally re-build the car with aftermarket Roush performance parts. The resulting car was displayed at the 2003 SEMA show and has become known as the FFR-Roush Coupe. |
