| We are taking the wraps off an
important development project and we wanted to give you a sneak peak at
what could be the next generation Factory Five Roadster. Although
still in development, the Mark III roadster could be available some time
in 2004. |
| This project got its start as we
decided to make the FFR roadster kit work with later model Mustang
running gear. As you may know, the current Mk II roadster is
designed to use the running gear from a 1987-1993 Mustang. |
| The engineering changes necessary
to make the kit able to accept the later model Mustang parts and the
killer 4.6 DOHC engine were completed months ago, but the project was
expanded in scope to include other potential changes. |
| Today, we are working on a larger
scale revision to the roadster that we call the Mk III project. At
this time, we don't know what changes and upgrades will make their way
into production, but we do believe that we'll have some decisions
completed and go to production with a new version in 2004. |
| We really aren't taking orders for
the Mk III version yet, since it doesn't really exist in its final form
and since we still have a lot of work to do before it enters production. |
| Pricing obviously hasn't been set
either since the final configuration is still not determined.
There are certainly no plans to offer any discounts on this new design.
Stay tuned to this site (factoryfive.com) and we'll keep you up to
date on the latest developments with this exciting new design.
