Yes that is a Factory Five
Challenge car pictured in Autoweek magazine (Nov 28 ish) doing a sick
smoky burnout. The car is a slightly warmed over version of the spec
class Challenge Model (changes include a beefed up 350 hp Roush mill and
bigger brakes).
The tires that are generating so many questions are Kumho Ecsta MX-C’s. They are designed to turn colors when you light ‘em up. Back last summer when we were testing them at a Kumho Press event we were sworn to secrecy… The tires are now for sale. Get ‘em while they’re hot! |
