Super Street Rod, Supercar, Modern-Day Hot Rod... Whatever you call it, it is AWESOME!

We wanted to let everyone know the current status of the new FFR GT-V8, now called the Spyder GT, and show some new spy shots of the re-designed body.

The first prototype debuted at the SEMA show in Las Vegas as promised.  Response was phenomenal and the booth was filled during the entire 4-day show.  The car made it's public debut on the west coast at the FFROG Fest in Sonoma CA and on the east coast at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona FL.  Initial response has been very positive, encouraging us to proceed to production with very few changes.

Current Status: The final adjustments are being made and the first production Spyder GT frame is finished.  Most of the donor parts are ready to go or are on order and will be here soon.  Assembly of the car will begin soon.  Here is the latest schedule:

Initial prototype release and evaluation:                   November 1, 2002

Pilot production start (kit production):                       January 15, 2003

Completion of 1^st production kit by FFR Staff          March 7, 2003

     (this will be car #2 after prototype)

Green Light for kit deliveries                                     May/June 2003
