In March of 1999, we learned that our third daughter Jennifer (right at 4 years old) was born with a fatal genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis. Since that time we have learned a great deal about this terrible disease and along the way have met the most amazingly brave and inspiring people you could ever imagine.

In adversity and tragedy we are witnesses to the beauty and strength of the human spirit. Please join my wife and I and the thousands of people engaged in fighting this disease. Research is close to a cure and now is the time to bring every effort we can to bear to defeat CF. We desperately need your help.

Forget about the fund raising cliches for a second. I have no pride in this regard. Any help you can muster is appreciated. We have listed some fund rainsing events that we have been associated with. We would be happy to have you join us at one of these events!

If you have an idea, any idea, please call me directly and I'll put my support behind it. A drive-in night, a car show, a club event, a rally, a raffle with FFR gear for prizes, anything. A dollar or ten thousand, it doesn't matter. The link at the bottom of this page entitled "Want to Help?" describes how you can get involved.

If you think that your time or money don't make a difference, keep this in mind. When Jenny was diagnosed only four years ago, the average life expectancy was 26 years. As of July 2003, the average life expectancy is at 31 years! That money raised has enabled research that has resulted in this gain. Simple as that. How much are those four additional years worth to us? Beyond any words.
