"Well, let's try on this pretty silver number..."
June 2001

Chassis Assembly was the first department to relocate from the old factory to the new building.  Only a day after a temporary occupancy permit could be obtained for the recently completed building at Tow Road, the first completed kit chassis' were rolling off the assembly lines of the expansive new facility.

At the same time, the departure of only one assembly process eased the overcrowding at 18 Kendrick, and efficiency has improved measurably.

The move is being planned very carefully and deliberately in order to ensure no interruptions in the production flow.  Other departments are scheduled to move over, one by one, in the coming weeks.  A full transfer of the entire Factory Five empire is expected for the third week in July.
