August, 2002 : New FFR Spyder GT Convertible!
What started out as the brainchild of FFR owner Mark Smith, the GT-V8 Roadster has gone through two molding evolutions until arriving at this final form.  Based on the same race proven chassis and suspension as the FFR Type 65  Coupe, the GT-V8 roadster brings a longer wheelbase, better handling chassis to the open air experience of a roadster with completely unique looks.
The new FFR video has test footage of prototype vehicle #X1001 and FFR X1002P, being driven by FFR engineers and magazine editors.  The rear tail and trunk sections of that car have been tapered and re-shaped for a cleaner and sexier look.  The prototype built last December 2001 is available to be seen here at the factory.

Production has now begun on this new kit and shipping is scheduled to start in August.  Call now to place your order.
