New FFR Three Link Suspension! |
|
| Now
there are three different rear suspension packages you can buy!
The new FFR Three-link
suspension is a great example of race technology that makes better
street cars. After two seasons of racing our Spec Racer in the
Mid-Atlantic and West Coast series, we found the standard four link
suspension needed help at extreme racing limits. After six months
of development and two months at speed in the Bob Bondurant School of
High Performance Driving, the Three-link was determined to be a worthy
compliment to the standard Mustang four-link and IRS suspension
packages. The Three-link has received more track time testing than
almost any other FFR part. It works wonderfully, aiding hook-up,
eliminating bind, and provides an amazingly predictable ride. |

|
| The
new Three-link suspension is designed to upgrade the stock Mustang parts
with a steel framework and panhard bar package that handles better and
costs only $550. The new FFR Three-link can be retro-fitted
into any older FFR roadsters. It is an intermediate step between
the stock rear suspension and the high end IRS. |

| Spec
rules still permit the older four-link but most racers have upgraded
their cars. the new suspension is standard on all FFR Spec Racers
and is a $550 option for any 65 roadster kit.
We have shipped over 200 of these new
suspensions to existing and new FFR customers. With the new
rigidity of the Mark II chassis, the three link is a perfect
compliment. The IRS still provides a smoother street ride, but
with the three link package, the solid axle is closer than ever!
