1000th Factory Five kit

On Friday March 3, 2000 Factory Five Racing Inc. delivered it's 1000th roadster kit! A party was held for the lucky customer who was picking up this kit at the FFR facility in Wareham, MA.

The customer was none other than FFR's very first customer. Bob Loscuito from Weymouth, MA purchased FFR1001x way back in 1993!

Chris makes #1000 come to life. Lenny, Jim, and Bob guide the car into the truck and the whole team assists in the pick-up.

Bob's 45,000 mile car was featured in the first article written about FFR in Petersen's kit car magazine back in 1995.

The front office team or Kerri, Tara, and Alicia decided to give Bob #1000 as a fitting tribute to the first purchase that launched the company.

Bob is using the running gear from old number 1 to power the latest of the very successful FFR car. Owner's Mark and David Smith read

through a laundry list of engineering changes that Bob will be excited to see as he builds #1000.

Bob was given a enlarged framed copy of the Certificate of Origin, a numbered FFR gear bag and an embroidered shirt with his name and FFR number.



		The final box is packed. Mark hands Bob his FFR 2000K staff shirt. Mark and Dave wear the smiles of 1000 427's.

We ended the day with a luncheon and a tasty cake marking the accomplishment of 1000 cars in 5 short years.
