FFR Ships 4000^th Kit!

FFR staff on hand to sign and send out the 4000th Factory Five Chassis kit!

In 1995 we delivered our first replica kit. Today marks the completion and shipping of our 4000^th kit! We wanted to take the chance to say thank you to our customers, our team members and all the folks who we have been lucky to work with over the years that have made this possible.

It seems like just yesterday when we shipped number 1000 to our first customer Bob Loscuito of Weymouth, MA. Actually it was March 3^rd 2000!

There is some confusion as to the numbering conventions used by FFR to count our chassis. This is the 4000^th chassis kit manufactured since we opened our doors. The kit shipping here is number FFR5000K but it is the 4000^th kit owing to the fact that we began the numbering convention at FFR1000K.


The FFR team sends out this kit with all of our names on it. Just behind #5000 sit more snakes getting ready to strike!

Chassis Assembly is busy making sure FFR6000K is not far behind! Customer McFarlands Spec Racer missed by inches!

This last photo has nothing to do with the 4000^th kit but it’s cool because it shows Joe Fournier working on the FFR-Roush Coupe.

Joe is about to start on a three-day prayer vigil where he will be asking higher powers to help make sure Dave Smith doesn’t crash again (upcoming race at VIR). Imagine the job he has of building artwork, having it wrecked over and over again.. Joe is a very patient man!
