| Sunny and
65 degree weather greeted about 150 folks who attended a small informal open-house
event that served as an excuse for local FFR customers to come and
check out Gary Cheney's latest creations.

newly build "Home Depot" orange FFR Spec Racer that Gary had
built from kit to finished car in just five weeks! |

The Spec Racer was brimming with cool
custom mods (all legal to the spec rules). Most people thought the
orange and white paint would end up looking horrible, but much to
everyone's surprise, it was drop dead gorgeous. |

The big "unveiling" occurred
at 11:30 am (30 minutes early). As the coupe was uncovered, people
flocked around the car and marveled at the cool features like automatic
door poppers, carbon lined doors and custom aluminum work.

Food, refreshments and some plant
tours rounded out a great half day event at the factory. Most
folks, who asked, were treated to sneak peeks of the new FFR SuperCar,
aluminum body roadster, and CE edition roadster (more on this later...). |
