|
| After
a week that Noah would fear, the sun made a timely appearance and
blessed the 2002 FFR Open House with 70 degree, sunny, beautiful blue
skies. Seventy Seven FFR faithful made the annual trek to our new
facility in Wareham and made the event our best ever. Activities
included, yes, a rolling dyno, with Terry Shank and Brian Dinsmore
pulling close to 400 hp each (at the rear wheel). Smiling Rich
Oben arrived from Kansas along with wiring savant Roger Stine, who
completely re-wired Nate Johnson's car during the day. |
|
 |
 |
|
| Gary
Cheney arrived along with co-pilot, Dave Borden in his FFR Type 65
Coupe. Right behind Cheney and Borden were about 20 NH area FFROGS,
who met up on the way down to the open house.
Steve Moriary (Kermit)
came all the way from California and Earl made the drive up in his
yellow car with his daughter (14 hours from NC). |

|
| FFR
Owners voted in the car show and Todd Buttrick won best of show with
runner up going to 289 pwevered Brian Dinsmore. Food was
plentiful, a play station for the kids kept the little germs occupied
and a whole bunch of vendors/suppliers showed up to showcase their
wares. |
|
 |
 |
|
| FFR customers gave folks rides in their cars
and instructors from the local New Bedford Regional HS brought a
beautiful completed charity car.
Ollie Hempel proved the spirit of FFR lives strong. His
absolutely immaculate yellow FFR won 2nd place for most innovative - oh
by the way he drove it up from NJ - we use these cars! |

| Next
year's Open House is already tentatively scheduled for June 6, 2003! |
