FFR truck is westward bound

The crew will depart soon and join the FFROGs for the 2nd annual Cruise-In

We’re stoked to head out west for the second annual Huntington Beach Cruise-In, as well as to see our old friends and to build new friendships, and to share our memories of Dick Smith.

The truck lumbered out of town earlier in the week, loaded down with our best cars and tons of fantastic raffle prizes, awards and giveaways.

We’ve been hearing from many of the folks who will be joining us, and the feedback this year has all been great – so many people will be heading to the beach with us that we’ve had to add an additional parking lot reservation at the Pier.

The current schedule has us doing awards at 3:15 at the Knotts show, but many will be smoking their tires getting out of the amusement park parking lot on their way to Huntington Beach.

From there, we expect to have car show awards and raffle prize drawings at 6pm in surf city.

Then the Moment of Thunder will begin in Huntington Beach at 6:30pm, and will initiate a nationwide rumble of exhaust, in tribute to our hero Dick Smith.
