New GTM is ready for Knott’s

The completed week build GTM.

As you may recall, our tech guys (Mark Dougherty, Joe Fournier, Lenny Gerard, and Bob Kay) spent a week in March building a new GTM and by the end of the week, they had a running rolling chassis. They shipped the body off to paint and it has since returned in a beautiful black finish.

Joe Fournier, Jim Schenck, Andy Cole and Mike Pisani worked hard to complete the new GTM in time for Knott’s and other upcoming events. They put on BBS wheels (17x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear) along with Michelin PS2 tires (17” 245/45 in the front and 18” 295/35 in the rear). The car is now completely up and running with the body installed. The finishing details were also made to the interior of the GTM.

At the same time, Mark Dougherty polished up the other cars we plan to bring to Knott’s and gave them those last minute tweaks.

Jesper’s 4.6 Roadster will be at Knott’s as well as the Factory Five Trailer.

The cars are presently on their way to California on the new Factory Five trailer. The new GTM is apart of the group of cars heading to Knott’s this coming weekend, but it is not going to make the drive to the cruise-in location since it is not registered yet. However, our other cars heading out to Knott’s will be apart of the cruise-in.

So if you are in the area, make sure to stop by the Knott’s Berry Farm Car Show this weekend, April 22nd and 23rd, to see everything that Factory Five has to offer.
