Following the Nov 20 meeting of Challenge Series directors here at Factory Five, tentative plans are moving forward to host the 2005 FFR Challenge Series National finals and FFR Owner’s Group Meet at Virginia International Raceway over Labor Day Weekend.
If the plan holds, this will be the second year in a row that the FFR Nationals will be at VIR and on the East Coast (the Nationals was on the West Coast for the first two events). The track management at VIR has made some serious support commitments and the event promises to be even bigger and better than the 2004 event.
As more details develop we will keep you up to date. Also we are working with Chuck Robertson to determine if the West Coast “Great Western Round-up” will again be held this fall around the time of the SEMA show. |

Lastly, we are making an effort to put in place our 2005 event plans with more lead time and to commit more money to the efforts. We are hopeful that 2005 will bring the best events, planning and the most fun as we celebrate our upcoming 10 year anniversary.
