Factory Five Challenge Series Nationals at MidOhio Sports Car Course National Champion to be crowned at NASA Nationals (Sept. 11-17) |

|
For the first time ever, NASA is hosting a national Championship Weekend to showcase the best racers within each of its many racing series and regions.
Not surprisingly, the FFR Challenge Series and their talented drivers will be one of the focal point of the weekend’s fierce racing. Challenge Series racers from all over the country will converge on Mid-Ohio (Lexington, OH) during the week of Sept. 11 in preparation for the run-offs, on Sunday, Sept. 17. |

This year, the glory will be won in a hotly contested race pitting 30 of the best racers from Challenge Series regions all across the country.
Past champions, Bryan Dobyns (2004) and Tony Buffomante (2005) will be running with bulls-eyes on their cars as the field will be itching to upset the champs. The East Coast region has brought home championship hardware the last few years, so the West Coast is hoping to finally break the East’s stranglehold on the winner’s podium. |

| Although this is purely a Challenge Series Nationals, the event is open to spectators (a nominal fee at the track), and we hope many FFR enthusiasts will be cheering the on-track action from the grandstands. | |||||||

The schedule of events for the race weekend:
The competitive events will include traditional road racing, time trials and a potential rally sprint. |

The Factory Five crew will be there in the paddocks, but this will NOT be a Nationals Event as we have hosted in previous years. There will be neither an organized street car show nor any specific events (outside of the races) of any kind. We are planning to change our Factory Five Nationals format for 2007 to involve FFROGs all over the country in several different events. Stay tuned, as more information will be posted on that plan in the future. |
