4th annual Reptile Roundup

Nov. 10-13, north-central Florida

We love our customers!

As we had originally intended, our customers ensure that Factory Fives are put to use.  Not only as daily drivers, but also on autocross and road course, on drag-strips and drift courses as well – the bottom line, Factory Fives are driven!

Certain regions seem to have too much of their share of fun – the South East is one of those regions.  Every year they host an annual event that brings out the best in every owner.  This is a multi-day event featuring an Open Track event, a Car Show and Museum tour, a Poker Run, Banquet Dinner and casual get-together, a customer Tech Seminar, a Driving School, a Cruise, and a mobile Dynamometer to determine who really has the most go in the show.  That’s more than something for everyone!

The annual event is called the Reptile Roundup, and if you live in the SouthEast and drive, are building, or have ever dreamed of owning, a Factory Five, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

A brief schedule of events:

Thursday, Nov. 10     Driving School at Gainesville International Raceway

There’s no better way to learn how to safely push your car to the limits than to get involved in a driving school.

                                    Customer Tech Seminar

Learn from other customers how to safely and effectively modify your car.

Friday, Nov. 11          Open Track Event at Gainesville International Raceway

Although Gainesville is still known as the fastest NHRA track in the

Southeast, they have added a challenging road course that is great for all

drivers – from novice to Challenge Series racer.

Mobile Dynamometer

Meet and Greet Party

Saturday, Nov. 12      Car Show at Don Garlit’s Museum of Drag Racing

Big Daddy is opening his doors for us and we expect nearly 100 roadsters

at the home of this icon of drag racing.

                                    Mobile Dynamometer

                                    Poker Run

                                    Banquet Dinner

Sunday, Nov. 13         Farewell Breakfast

Cruise to Micanopy

This is the “thanks to our wives, for putting up with us all weekend” cruise

(let’s face it, a bit of antique shopping before the drive home is the least

that we can do)
