From
1961-1980, Watkins Glen was host track to the United States Grand Prix. In
the 60’s drivers like Moss, Surtees, Clark and Hill. The 70’s brought
greats like Stewart, Andretti, Lauda and Lcyx to upstate New York. These
legends piloted Lotus 49/Fords and Tyrells to greatness, and at the US
Zippo Vintage Grand Prix, you can see these cars in action again.
There
is something about this prestigious and historical track which brings out
rare machinery, and this year won't be an exception.
The
Factory Five crew will be there with a killer rolling chassis, the red
“Panoz-built” Challenge Series car. We’ll be joined by Barry Brown and
the team from Reiter Restoration, who’ll be bringing FFR customer Jim
Allen’s awesome Brock Yates signed FFR Coupe!
The
team will have free DVD’s and brochures available at the booth. We hope
you can join us and we look forward to a great turn-out of FFR cars and a
great weekend! See you at The Glen! |
