We’re always excited to see more cool cars, so when Dick Smith invited us to join him at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival over Labor Day weekend, we jumped at the chance.
So we’ve skated out of the family plans for the long weekend, sent the wives and kids to the beach, and we’re heading to possibly the prettiest track on the East Coast - Lime Rock Park! This festival is one of the largest vintage automobile celebrations, and will play host to a diverse field of race cars spanning eight decades in automotive racing history. These include timeless pre-war classics to the roar of historic Trans-Am machines and exotic prototypes. |

Not surprisingly, we’ll bring half the showroom with us as a display, and backdrop to the action on the track. Customer cars representing several different generations of the FFR Roadster will be coming out to join us as well. In between races, the legendary Dick Smith and his CSX 3035 will be hanging out in the Factory Five booth, telling stories of the glory days of racing. |

The event will take place between Friday Sept. 1 and Monday Sept. 4, with races and events occurring on each of those days. More information can be found, and tickets ordered, via the Vintage Festival website. |
