World of Wheels – Boston 2005

Call it an automotive Ground Hog day, the World of Wheels in Boston gives all New Englanders a chance to dream of warmer days to come (even if they’re not due for several months down the road).

Occurring the first weekend after each year, this show is the best place to see all of the coolest cars, bikes, trucks and other vehicular toys.  It’s a chance for everyone to show off their craftsmanship and to showcase all of the cool stuff they’ve received over the holidays.  It’s also becoming known as the place where even the best built rods, customs and replicas don’t have a chance against the cadre of FFR’s.

The 2005 show did not disappoint anyone.  From choppers to shifter carts, hot rods to Hummers, trucks to trailer queens, the show was jam-packed with hardware.  Every square inch was gleaming with chrome and perfect paint jobs were spread all over the exposition hall like a kaleidoscope of colors.

In the center of it all, the Factory Five booth boasted six cars, all of which won awards!  Along with our Patriot blue Mk2 roadster and matching vintage Bondurant-signature Coupe, award-winning roadsters built by Rick Lacourse and Chris Richards joined the display.

In characteristic form, with Factory Fives in our space, everyone else is competing for second place.  It’s no joke… Here are the award winners.

Special thanks to all the FFROGs who came out to assist the FFR team
