Every year, the World of Wheels show launches
us into the show and events season, and helps to get us geared up
for the year ahead. As in years past, we did not come away empty
handed.
The 2007 Boston event showcased the largest
number of show vehicles in their history, and the crowds came in
droves.
Not surprisingly, the Factory Five booth was
one of the most popular areas in the convention center.
(Considering all of the chrome, paint, sound systems, and dancing
girls, this is no small feat)
The awards collected included:
Homebuilt Sports Car - Best in Show and
Runner-up
Production Roadrace - Best in Show and
Runner-up
Kit Car Award of Excellence
Special thanks go out to all the FFROGs who came out to join us and
assist with crowd control. As usual, we convinced Rick Lacourse to
lend us FFR 1948 for the weekend, and Keith Douglas (FFR 5428CP) and
Matt Kennedy (FFR 2961) were roped into talking to prospective
customers for most of the show as well. |
