| Contemporary Body Shells Now Available | |

Four years ago, we purchased the assets of the
former Contemporary Motorcars company. Contemporary had earned a
reputation for one of the finest component replicas in the
industry. At the time of the purchase, we took a hard look at
their tooling and designs, and decided against using them.
Unfortunately, the parts were extremely labor intensive, and did not
match our solid focus on CNC designed parts.
The molds and jigs were put in storage for review at a later date. Over the years, however, we have received many inquiries for various parts, especially the molded body shells. |
| Several months ago, we pulled the molds out of storage and made a body for comparison's sake (part of the Mark II and aluminum body evaluations). Now that the mold is out of storage, we decided to give it a go, and offer the bodies for those with the original Contemporary kits. | |

The body shells are now available for $3950. At present, the doors, hood, molded cockpit and trunk panels are NOT available for purchase. These bodies are intended only as replacements for Contemporary kits, and are not directly retro-fittable to the Factory Five chassis. Note: These bodies are NOT a direct bolt-on for a Factory Five kit, nor is a retro-fit kit planned for the near future. |
