Carlisle All-Fords Show with Ford Racing Performance Parts, Carlisle Pennsylvania
The biggest all-Ford car show kicks off this weekend (June 3-5) in Carlisle Pennsylvania.  The team from FFR will be joining the Ford road show and displaying the new FFR Bondurant Coupe alongside the Panoz-built FFR Challenge Racer.  Rumor has it that Ford will show their GT supercar or their GT500 Mustang at the same time.

FFR technical support guru Mark Dougherty will be present to answer questions on FFR products and meet with customers.  Mark will also be
entering the “Burn-out” contest.   More to come.

June 10-12 Goodguys 17th Annual Hot Rod Nationals, Indianapolis, IN

Running on the same weekend as the East Coast Challenge Series races at Beaver Run in Pennsylvania, The Ford Racing Truck and the crew from Factory Five Racing will again be joining forces to take on all comers at the 17th Annual GoodGuys Hot Rodd Nationals.  We’ll have two FFR guys at the show with the Ford Racing display.  If you’re at the show, see us at the Ford Booth.

June 11-12 East Coast Challenge Series Race, Beaver Run Raceway, Beaver Run, PA

All the car shows sorta make our racers feel left out of all the fun!  Not so.  This month we expect great racing action as the second points race on the East Coast Series heads to Beaver Run PA.

We look forward to a full field as the regular East Coast drivers are joined by the upstart Midwestern contingent.  Call us for more information or check out the race link to NASA (the racing sanctioning body/organization).

June 18 8th Annual Factory Five Racing Open House, Wareham, MA (link to last year’s report)

On Saturday June 18, all roads lead to Factory Five Racing for our 8th (hard to believe!) annual open house event.  We’ll be hosting the same format as in recent years, but expect a record number of attendees.  You can count on tons of cars, good food (free anyway), music, a rolling dyno, plant tours and our traditional scratch and dent sale.  If you’re looking for deals on parts, this year’s sale will be bigger than ever and include a huge array of R&D parts, even engines and experimental stuff!  We look forward to seeing you there!  The GTM will be on display at the 2005 Open House.

Check out last years full report and photos.

June 24-26 5th Annual Spring Fling Charity Cruise and Car Show for Cystic Fibrosis

This year the annual Spring Fling has been moved to nearby Cleavelkand Ohio, from it’s previous location in London, Ohio.  Longtime organizer and good guy Ed Coombs has handed the torch of this great fundraiser to a new crew.  The FFR team will be attending as customers and not looking to sell our wares, but rather to join other customers and have some fun for a good cause.  Check out www.dvspringfling.com for more.

Note:  A smaller group of loyal Londoners are staying fast to their London, Ohio roots and running a similar (but smaller scale) event in the original location.  We may be at both, but as of now, FFR engineer Jim Schenck and his dad are attending the Cleveland event.  More to come…
