Dec 2004, Welding Robot Joins FFR Tech Group Our third CNC/Robotic equipment arrived this month. The new Fanuc/RPT welding robot hit the floor welding with FFR Engineer Colby Whipple at the helm. In our continuing efforts to maintain and deliver high quality and keep prices down we are anxious to get “Hal” on-line as soon as possible.
The Robot was ordered as plans continue to make GTM chassis parts and components for the Mk3 roadster robotically. The goal is to deliver a chassis/vehicle kit under $20,000 for the GTM and to help hold down prices on FFR roadsters.
