Forum donates $1,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Recently, a group of customers on the internet banded together and bought our crew a pizza lunch.  Apparently, there were a few extra greenbacks and internet discussion forum moderator Joe Leone delivered a check made out to Team Jenny/The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  I wanted to say a personal thanks to all the forum members on behalf of my daughter, my family, and all the families affected by Cystic Fibrosis.

As many of you know, my daughter Jenny has CF and has battled this disease for 9 years and is doing great!  Thanks to the money raised by generous people everywhere, the CF Foundation has developed drugs and therapies that have made a HUGE difference in the lives of kids with CF.  Today the average age that a CF patient lives is 31. When Jenny was born only 9 years ago, that average age was 25!  We are going in the right direction.

Personally, my family has been the recipient of so much kindness, so many prayers, and so many of you have touched our lives with these acts of love.

I will always be thankful for Factory Five Racing, and this amazing community of friends because from this place, so much goodness has come.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughtfulness and for sharing in this story of all of ours.
