Head out to Arizona & rent an American icon Factory Fives available for enthusiasts, test drivers and weekend adventurers Scott Layman and his team at American Iron Rentals have had their sights on the goal of creating a unique automotive experience for quite a while. What was missing was a car that was not only unique, but also reliable, affordable, safe and attractive. Their natural choice was a Factory Five Mk3 Roadster, which had all of the features they desired in one beautiful package. |

Now that the business is up and running, they barely have time to give their Mk3 a rest prior to going back out on the road between rentals. A second car is in the build phase now, and should be up and running in a few months. |

Scott Layman, Owner and President of American Iron Rentals |
As an ex-Airborne paratrooper with tours in Panama and Desert Storm, Scott is used to taking risks, but he won’t compromise on safety, and the car gets a thorough mechanical inspection after every rental. They refuse to take any chances on your rental. Also on the slate for the future are a Factory Five GTM and Type 65 Coupe, as well as a ’55 Ford T-bird, ’66 Shelby GT 350H, ’70 Plymouth ‘Cuda and an early model Corvette. Their plans are to have a fleet of a half dozen cars available by the end of the year. |

Instead of just renting a car for your vacation, let the car be the vacation.
