Customer Profile - Erik Treves Enterprise, Alabama |
Erik Treves is a 21 year veteran of the US Army who is currently stationed in Fort Rucker Alabama. Not only does he teach instruction and maintenance test pilots on Blackhawk Helicopters, but he’s the standardization pilot for his brigade. Between his hard work with the Army and his family at home, Erik found time to build a Factory Five Racing Mk3.1. |

Erik took delivery of his Roadster in June and was finished with the entire build by Halloween! The GM Polo Green and silver striped Mk3.1 has a Ford Racing 392 crate engine, with a custom turbo system fabricated by Erik using a Turbonetics turbocharger, air to air intercooler and a Electromotive TEC GT engine management system. Currently with 7lbs of boost, the car makes 543 rear wheel hp and 647 lb/ft rear wheel torque.
This is Erik’s second FFR Roadster, his first was a Mk1 donor using a supercharged 302, but grew into a 460 HP supercharged 306 by the time he sold it. Erik decided to use the money to build his new Mk3.1 nicknamed The Green Lantern. |

Erik’s build turned into a family affair with support and help from his wife Charlene and his six year old daughter Rachel. Erik’s Mother even came from South Florida to give a hand riveting the aluminum. The Mk3.1 looks amazing in the photos and was built in less than five months. Job well done to Erik, his family and all involved in his experience of building his Factory Five Racing Mk3.1 Roadster. |
