Good Guys Finish First
Chip Foose
and Jeff Collins at Whitby |

These days I'm being bogged down by
Carroll $helby and his legal shenanigans. If ever these was a
poster child for "hero to zero," he would qualify. In all this
it is easy to forget how many great people there are in the
automotive industry and I figured I'd tell you about a few. |

Immediately following the World of
Wheels Boston show, FFR customer Marc Butz hopped on a plane and
flew to Michigan to visit the build school. Sitting next to
him on the plane was a friendly guy named Chip Foose. Chip is
a down to earth guy with solid values and a big heart. Marc
told Chip about his upcoming Factory Five project and was blown away
when Chip took the time to sketch out a killer custom FFR-Foose
Roadster. Chip Foose is a huge celebrity who deserves the
respect and admiration car guys everywhere. What a gentleman. |

Jeff Collins from Whitby Motorcars |
Just this morning, I
opened up my mail to find $1,372 donation to Team Jenny c/o the
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation from the Mid-Atlantic Factory Five owners
who attended the year-end Christmas party with Jeff Collins and crew
at Whitby Motorcars. Jeff and his team have raised over
$25,000 for kids with cystic fibrosis and unlike some other "charities",
every single penny that was raised was donated. Jeff builds
exceptional cars and treats every person like a good friend. |

Just two solid car guys doing good
without seeking the lime light. Thought you would want to
know.
