Check out the December issue of Grassroots Motorsports, which is their 25th Anniversary Edition.  In this issue is great coverage of the NASA Nationals event held at Miller Motorsports Park this past fall.

For the fourth straight year, NASA has hosted it’s National Championship race and crowned 35 series champions.  This year was the first year for the event to be held at the brand-new Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City, Utah.  Previous years have been held at Mid-Ohio.

The Factory Five Challenge Series will be entering it’s 10th year (2010) and has been one of the largest and most  exciting of NASA’s varied series which include American Iron cars, Spec Miatas, Honda Challenge, 944 Spec, Camaro-Mustang Challenge, and many others.

This year Florida’s Scott McKay earned his second consecutive win, landing atop some 15 competitors to win the title.  Other top finishers included:

2nd Place - Paul Kaiser
3rd Place - John George

4th Place - Karen Salvaggio
5th Place - Dave Standridge

Many of the top drivers will be competing in this weekend’s 25 hour endurance race at Thunderhill, where three FFR cars will be run by three private teams.
