Grassroots Motorsports "25 Best Cars Ever"

There are car guys and then there are ultimate, gear-head, racer car guys. The guys at Grassroots Motorsports (GRM) are the later. And so it is a great honor that we were featured in their 25^th year anniversary issue as one of the 25 Best Cars Ever.

We were actually picked number 9, in company with the BMW’s 3 series cars, Porsche’s 911, Chevrolet’s Corvette, and other moniker sports cars.

Here’s what they wrote:

"The Factory Five has been a staple at track events for years, and NASA even has a spec class for the car. It can be a weekend cruiser or a track brute. It even works well with stock 5.0 engine.

But, the Factory Five has done so much more: it helped legitimize the kit car industry. True, there are still flakes and crooks out there, but the crew from Wareham, MA., showed that if true gearheads have their way, a kit car company can be successful while generating legions of fans."
