Challenge Series cars highlighted in review of 2nd annual championships

In their December 2007 issue, the editors of Grassroots Motorsports magazine chose Factory Five Challenge Cars to showcase coverage of the 2007 NASA NationalsThe Nationals races, held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in mid September, featured some of the hottest racing in the country, but it was the Challenge Series which garnered much of the coverage in this magazine.\

Entitled Speedy Sequel, the article opens with a full page shot of David Standridge piloting his car to victory in the Challenge Series finals

Grassroots Motorsports also posted images of Tony Buffomante and his Challenge car, anxiously awaiting the start of the Super Touring race – a race at which Tony would eventually capture the checkered flag

Also featured were:
FFR engineer Jim Schenck discussing strategy with Challenge Series racer Rick Anderson; David Standridge and his #83 Challenge car again; and Richard Norgrove and his wingman (Muppet Grover)Clearly the editors at GRM recognize which series has the most exciting cars and drivers.

Grab a copy for yourself.  Every page is chock full of racing coverage of this, and other, racing events.  For the weekend racer there really is no better publication that addresses the passion of speed like Grassroots Motorsports.

As a special bonus for this issue, Grassroots Motorsports has included a 2008 calendar which features a different racecar on each month.  As we hung our copy on the wall, we noticed that the March cover-boy is none other than our friend David Standridge – pushing his #83 Challenge Car to the limits on his way to victory at the 2007 FFR Challenge Series Nationals.
